Janet and John were married this past Sunday at the beautiful San Gabriel Hilton hotel. Janet and John are high-school sweethearts. Carol, a Bridesmaid told a cute story of how the couple discovered that they both lived a few doors down from one another since the age of five.
I managed to get a hotel staff to assist me in hanging the wedding gown off one of the lighting fixtures in the hotel lobby.

John is a USC alumni and wanted photographs taken on the campus. As a UCLA alumni, I had to force myself to go to USC
All kidding aside, USC is a beautiful campus with great architecture and a beautiful garden in the courtyard.

The ceremony was held outdoors on the third floor of the hotel. John works as a field staffer for State Assembly Member, Mike Eng who presided as the Officiant for their wedding.

Congresswoman, Judy Chu, was on hand to sign the marriage certificate.

I caught my second photographer’s flash as he photographed the Bridesmaids watching the first dance. The reflection of the table cloth and back wall forms a perfect image of a heart!

It was a tearful moment when this surprised guest arrived during the reception.

Henry,
These pictures are breathtaking! I am blown away by you and J.P.’s talents for capturing a piece of time and history in our lives. These pictures do more than speak volumes and invoke emotion, they tell a humble story. Thank you for giving us the honor of having you document our wedding. It was fun and I look forward to doing the maternity session with you soon…very soon…
Absolutely beautiful!! Breathtaking indeed…
Here is a random but weird coincidence: The night before the wedding when I was speaking to my groomsmen about logistics outside at the front of my house, I spot a shooting star. Next, on the way back from taking picutres at USC, Janet decides to eat an apple that has a small rotten spot and low and behold, its shaped like a perfect heart. Then Henry captures a picture during our first dance with a subtle lighting obscurely shaped as a heart right behind us!
John, Janet, that’s an awesome series of coincidences, or was your marriage kismet?
That is so true! I totally forgot about the heart shaped rotten spot on my apple! I think its definitely a symbol of kismet!
Whoa! A two-day flight really does something to suit pants.
There are two things I love most in my life, my family and being with my family. Everything was right with the world on this night.
Cousin Tommy.
