Mason recently started turning and sleeping on his tummy at night. With the fear of SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) properly drilled into me from Doctors, parenting books and online web resources, you can image that I was cautiously fearful for my son’s well-being. Everytime I check and discover him in this “dangerously compromising” position, I’m torn between letting my boy sleep or taking a chance that flipping him tummy-side up would wake him up and start a bout of endless wailing.  He’s been turning back around more often during the day, so my fear of nighttime SIDS have been assuaged somewhat. What do some of you new parents do in my situation?

I spent some time this morning photographing their 3 month old baby boy, Nate. Nate is sure a handsome little fella. I think Sophia has a little crush on him. She made some cooing noises when she first saw his photographs.
